What some of our clients have to say:
Trish Palmer - Brisbane, Australia. Elite female cyclist/teacher
As an athlete who works full time, my training needs to fit into a limited amount of time.Ben at DayByDay Cycle Coaching is able to effectively use this time and produces programs that are unique for me.Through my feedback and Ben’s knowledge I am able to achieve my goals and compete successfully at the elite level.
Being coached at DayByDay Cycle Coaching is a two way street. It is refreshing to work with a coach who listens to my suggestions and who will always research topics he is unsure of.No problem is too big for Ben, he draws on his own experiences and the team of expert individuals who support him to find a solution.
My cycling has reached levels I never thought possible, it is all thanks to Ben and DayByDay Cycle Coaching.
Trish.
Scott Greenland - Brisbane, Australia. Elite male rider/working professional
After having a hiatus from racing for a long period of time, I decided to compete again in a specific road race I’d selected. The problem I’ve always had with achieving my cycling goals is staying focused and having some structure to the training I do. Approaching Ben with my goal in mind, he formulated a program that would enable me to train effectively with the time I had available and assist me to get the most out of myself as well as the program he’d designed.
Whenever I had questions over the program or wanted to understand why I wasn’t responding as well as I thought I should be, Ben was extremely open to feedback on what I thought was or wasn’t working. Through this consultative process, over a period of months we built a platform that allowed me to succeed in achieving my goal and also to finish in the top ten.
If your looking for a way to achieve your cycling goals but are lacking some direction, support and encouragement then I would have no hesitation in recommending Ben. Using his knowledge and experience, helped me to achieve my goals so much so we’ve already discussed my next goal to achieve.

Monique Hein - Lyons, Colorado. Elite female cyclist/Lab tech If you are looking to improve and take your racing to the next level I highly recommend getting a coach. This is important for those who want to increase their ability and reach higher levels. I find structure and encouragment from a knowledeable and seasoned professional rider can help keep you motivated (less chance of getting burned out) and healthy on the bike (don't want to overtrain). And of course a coach is going to help you get stronger/faster so that you can reach your goals. A coach is for riders at any level. We can always improve our riding at any stage in our career.I have been fortunate to work with Ben Day, a professional rider since 2002 who has competed and won many top level races around the world. Ben is from Australia, but currently resides in Boulder. After experiencing other coaches what I like about Ben is that he has a grip on reality for those of us that work full time jobs, have kids, etc. He takes the challenges that each individual holds in life and creates a personal training program to suit their needs. I know finding a coach can be a hard task. Like I said I have been through many, and most were so busy with other riders that my program was never personal. So if finding a great coach is something you are looking into check out Ben's website. He might just be an awesome fit for you. From my experience with him, it has been quite easy for me to get back in the swing of things after being off the bike so long. And as long as I inform him about whats going on in my life he will design my program so it fits nicely with my day to day crazy life. Monique Only registered users can write comments!
